George Farquar

George Farquar has held various roles in the scientific and technology industry since 2004. George began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2004, before moving to Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a Research Scientist in 2005. In 2012, Farquar began working as an Independent Consultant. George then worked as Founder and CTO of SafeTraces, Inc. in 2015, and CTO of DNATREK, LLC in the same year. In 2016, Farquar founded SkyeSciences, LLC and HydroVirga, Inc., where they held the roles of Founder and President and CEO and Founder, respectively. Most recently, Farquar became the Founder and CTO of Buzzkill Labs in 2018.

George Farquar obtained their B.S. in Chemistry from Humboldt State University between 1991 and 1997. George then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Louisiana State University, which they completed in 2003. George has also attended UCLA Anderson School of Management and the University of Guadalajara, but no degree was earned.
