Marco Biagianti

Marco Biagianti has a diverse work experience in the paper and board industry. Marco started their career as an intern at ER-WE-PA (now Davis-Standard) in 1990 and later interned at Linares Metalúrgica in 1996. Marco then worked as a project engineer at Jagenberg Papiertechnik GmbH, where they coordinated machine rebuilds, tests, and customer support in Italy. Marco also held the role of sales manager at Jagenberg, where they prepared offers and coordinated activities within technical and commercial divisions.

In 2003, Biagianti joined bielomatik Leuze GmbH + Co. KG as the head of sales for paper finishing equipment, responsible for a sales team and worldwide budget. Marco also served as an area sales manager for paper converting, overseeing markets in China, Japan, Russia, Australia, Greece, Italy, and Spain. Marco conducted training, negotiated licenses, and transferred know-how with cooperation partners.

From 2013 to 2015, Biagianti worked for Bielomatik-Matti AG as part of its general management team. Marco launched new products in new markets, combining digital printing and paper converting.

Since 2015, Biagianti has been the sales director for paper mills in the EMEA region at BW Papersystems.

Marco Biagianti obtained their General Qualification for University Entrance from Dietrich-Bonhoeffer Secondary School from 1980 to 1989. Marco then pursued a Pre-degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ruhr University Bochum between 1991 and 1994. Finally, they completed their education with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from University (TH) Karlsruhe, spanning from 1994 to 1998.
