Mahir Erkan

Mahir Erkan is the Head of Risk Management at BWI GmbH, leading the improvement of risk management for the entire company. Prior to this, Mahir worked as Group Risk Management at Deutsche Telekom where Mahir led projects to strengthen risk management activities and supported new entities in developing and implementing risk management activities. Mahir also has experience as the Head of Risk Management in GaVI, responsible for project risk management and integration of group-wide risk management activities. Before that, Mahir worked as a Senior Manager Advisory Services at PwC Deutschland, leading project teams and projects related to Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance. Mahir holds a degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
