Gary Morton

Gary Morton has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and cyber security. Gary has held various leadership positions in companies like By Light Professional IT Services, Circadence, Oracle, AirFiber, Prisa Networks, Pacific Data Products, and Qualcomm.

At By Light Professional IT Services, they served as the Vice President of Engineering, leading a team responsible for designing, building, deploying, and supporting cyber security ranges for training and exercises. Gary'sfocus was on building virtual cyber security environments to address customer requirements.

During their time at Circadence, Gary Morton held multiple roles, including the VP of QA/Technical Director of Federal Services R&D, VP of Product Services/Cloud Solution, and Vice President of Engineering. Gary was responsible for running Quality Assurance, Certification, and Accreditation activities, as well as leading product deployment and backend development efforts for Project Ares, a gamified cyber security training platform.

Prior to Circadence, Gary Morton worked at Oracle as a Principal Engineer/Architect, where they led the development of high throughput networking and security products. Gary also has experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked at AirFiber and Qualcomm in leadership roles, overseeing software development and network management projects.

Gary Morton obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Management Science from UC San Diego from 1980 to 1985. Later, they pursued their Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Management at the University of Redlands, which they completed between 1988 and 1990.
