John Rogovin

John Rogovin serves as the General Counsel at ByteDance since June 2024, bringing extensive legal expertise from previous roles, including Principal at Rogovin Consulting from January 2023 to May 2024 and EVP & General Counsel at WarnerMedia from September 2008 to June 2022. In the latter position, John led the global legal operations for the Studio & Networks Group, overseeing a team of over 160 lawyers handling various legal areas such as negotiations, litigation, and intellectual property. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at WilmerHale, specializing in federal court litigation and regulatory matters. John holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and an A.B. in History from Columbia University.
