Patrick Zhang is a prominent figure in the fields of digital economy and law, currently serving as a Fellow at the Digital Economy and Law Innovation Research Center at 对外经济贸易大学 since October 2021. In September 2023, Patrick assumed the role of Global Head of Technology Policy and Law at 字节跳动. Additionally, Patrick holds positions as a Senior Fellow (Non Resident) at both the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) since May 2023 and the Shanghai Institute for International Studies since March 2023. Furthermore, in February 2024, Patrick will become a Salzburg Global Fellow at the Salzburg Global Seminar.
