Mario Labate

Mario Labate has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Mario is currently the Head of Development at BYTEK | the martech of Datrix group since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Tech Scout at Randstad Technologies Italia starting in March 2021. Before that, they held the position of Technical Manager at Conversion E3 from June 2019 to February 2022. Mario also served as the Head of Technology at Alavie from December 2016 to June 2019. In addition, they worked as a Unit Manager at StarSolutions - IT Consulting from November 2015 to November 2016, and as an IT Consultant at Altran from August 2014 to November 2015. Mario also worked as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at ADB from August 2014 to November 2015. Furthermore, they served as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Uniplay S.r.l from January 2012 to August 2014. Mario started their career as an IT Consultant at Spazio ZeroUno from July 2008 to August 2014, and prior to that, they worked as an Embedded Software Engineer at ADB from July 2008 to January 2012.

Mario Labate earned a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Università degli Studi 'Mediterranea' di Reggio Calabria from 2004 to 2006. Mario also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Mario Labate has obtained several certifications in various fields of technology and programming. Mario attended courses and meetups on topics such as TypeScript, code review and secure programming, blockchain development on Hyperledger Fabric, collaborative learning with immersive reality, generative AI and the metaverse, data engineering with Python, microservices and Kubernetes, software architecture, DevOps, Alexa Skill development, Tailwind CSS, scalable and innovative architectures, artificial intelligence and edge computing, low code machine learning for marketing analytics, Unity game development, the technical aspects of Bitcoin, web 3.0 game development, and web 3.0 blockchain and NFT. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as Aulab, The Communities Bay, OVHcloud, and Ad Hoc Minds between 2022 and 2023.
