Sebastien Michotte

Sebastien Michotte has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sebastien is currently working at CP BOURG since 2021, where they hold the position of Head of Mechanical Design. Prior to this, they worked as an Ingénieur conception mécanique at the same company from June 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining CP BOURG, Sebastien worked at Husqvarna Group from 2018 to 2021. Sebastien held multiple roles during their tenure, including Manufacturing & Engineering Project Manager from January 2021 to March 2021, Research Technology Project Manager from June 2020 to December 2020, and Research Technology Project Leader from January 2018 to May 2020.

Prior to Husqvarna Group, Sebastien worked at ANYSHAPE SA as a Metal Additive Manufacturing Manager from August 2016 to December 2017. Sebastien also worked as a Project Manager at Sirris from October 2014 to August 2016.

Sebastien's earlier experience includes working as a chercheur en électrochimie at Materia Nova from January 2012 to December 2013, and as Chargé de recherches and Chargé de recherches du FNRS at Université catholique de Louvain from 2008 to 2011.

Sebastien also gained international experience during their time as a Post-doc at UC Berkeley from August 2006 to December 2007, and as a Chargé de recherches at UCLouvain - Université catholique de Louvain from April 2005 to July 2006.

Sebastien Michotte attended the Université catholique de Louvain from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Ingénieur civil in the field of sciences des matériaux. Sebastien then continued their education at the same university and obtained a Docteur en sciences appliquées degree in sciences des matériaux from 2000 to 2005.
