Patrick Harrigan

Fermentation Scientist at c16 Biosciences

Patrick Harrigan has worked in the field of fermentation science for over 10 years. In 2021, they began working as a Fermentation Scientist at C16 Biosciences. Prior to this, they were employed at Zymergen, Inc. from 2018-2021, where they held the roles of Fermentation Scientist III, Fermentation Scientist II, and Fermentation Scientist I. From 2011-2018, they worked at the University of California, San Francisco, where they were an Interim Postdoctoral Scholar and a Graduate Student Researcher studying feedback regulation in biological signaling networks. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant in Rasmus Nielsen's Lab at UC Berkeley.

Patrick Harrigan received their Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2006 to 2010. Patrick then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy in Biological and Medical Informatics from the University of California, San Francisco from 2011 to 2018.
