Yimin Liu

Yimin Liu is a highly skilled data scientist currently serving as Lead Data Scientist at C3 AI since October 2020, with a focus on enhancing stochastic inventory optimization algorithms. Previous experience includes a significant role as a Research Assistant at Stanford University, where Yimin developed the CNN-PCA method for low-dimensional geological model representation. With a strong background in reservoir engineering, Yimin has interned at various prestigious organizations, including bp, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Total, and Schlumberger, contributing to projects involving deep learning applications, simulation modeling, and optimization techniques. Yimin holds a PhD and a Master’s Degree from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Peking University.
