Director Of Culinary Operations at Cactus Club Cafe

Jason Streefkerk has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. Jason began their career in 2003 as a Child and Youth Worker at Options Community Services Society, where they worked until 2006. In 2006, they joined Cactus Club Cafe as a Sous Chef, and eventually worked their way up to the position of Head Chef at multiple locations. From 2015 to 2019, they served as the Regional Operations Chef for Cactus Club Cafe. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Culinary Operations at Cactus Club Cafe, starting in July 2019.

Jason Streefkerk attended La Salle University from 1997 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biology, General. In 2006, they furthered their education at The Art Institute of Vancouver, specializing in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Ownership. During their time there, they focused on Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
