Rana Banerjee

Rana Banerjee has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently serving as the President of Operations at Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, where they oversee API sites, a Greenfield project, and other projects. They are responsible for managing a team of 700 employees, with plans to increase to 1000 employees in the future. Rana has also held positions at Unichem Laboratories Ltd as Associate Vice President, where they managed three API sites, and at Baxter Healthcare as a Plant Manager. Prior to these roles, Rana worked at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Wockhardt Ltd, Pfizer Ltd, and The OUDH SUGAR MILLS LTD in various production-related positions.

Rana Banerjee completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1988 to 1993, they attended Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science (Hons) degree in Maths from the same institution. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Rana Banerjee pursued an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
