Head Of Digital Design Area & Bim Manager Strategy at CAF Turnkey & Engineering

Eva Hernán García has a diverse range of work experience in the field of architecture and BIM management. Eva began their career in 2005 as an Art Teacher at the American School of Madrid. Eva then went on to work at Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners as an Architectural Intern. In 2012, they joined AMP Arquitectos S.L., where they worked as an Architect on public projects and national and international competitions. Eva then worked at more&co as an Architect, specializing in housing, retail, offices, and restoration projects. Eva later joined Antonio Huestamendia Jimenez, where they worked as an Architect, primarily focused on creating architectural plans and interior design for a national telecommunications company. In 2015, Eva joined LKS as an Architect and BIM Manager & Coordinator, overseeing architectural projects and BIM implementation. Eva also became a member of the working groups for the Spanish BIM Commission through their involvement with es.BIM. Currently, Eva is the Head of the Digital Design Area & BIM Manager Strategy at CAF Turnkey & Engineering.

Eva Hernán García completed their undergraduate studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2003 to 2011, earning a degree in Arquitecto Superior. Eva then pursued further education at the Centro Autodesk: 24studio LAB, where they obtained a Master BIM degree in 2015. This program focused on Autodesk software and they received an Autodesk Certificate No. 17F241FQF1.

In 2006, Eva also had the opportunity to study abroad at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) as part of the Beca Erasmus program. Eva studied Arquitectura during their time there.

Additionally, Eva holds a certification as a Master BIM Expert from Autodesk, specializing in Revit (Arch, Struc, MEP), Navisworks, Ecotect, and BIM Management. The month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
