Christopher J. Mertens

Christopher J. Mertens has extensive experience in various roles within the hospitality and service industries. Currently serving as a Professional Application Filler Outer at Start it up since February 2023, Christopher also works as a Bar Back at Cafe Sevilla Inc. since July 2021, supporting bartenders in a fast-paced nightclub. Previously, as the Adventure Guide Department Manager at Talisker Golf and Country Club, Christopher developed training and safety manuals, managed programming, and oversaw equipment fleet management. From 2004 to 2015, Christopher owned and operated KC Homes, expanding the business significantly to support adults with developmental disabilities. Earlier career roles included safety and operations responsibilities at Southwest Airlines and lifeguard management at Binions Horseshoe. Christopher's foundational education was completed at Valley High School.
