Ivan Gusachenko has a diverse and extensive work experience in various research and technical roles. Ivan is currently working as a Technical Project Manager at Cailabs since March 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ecole normale supérieure from January 2019 to February 2019.

Before joining Ecole normale supérieure, Ivan was associated with the University of St Andrews for several years. Ivan held multiple positions including Research Fellow from March 2018 to December 2018, Marie Curie Fellow from March 2016 to February 2018, and Research Fellow from November 2015 to February 2016. During their time at the University of St Andrews, they contributed significantly to the development of advanced imaging technologies and techniques, achieving breakthroughs in Raman microscopy and lensless Raman endoscopic imaging.

Prior to their time at the University of St Andrews, Ivan worked as a Researcher at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology from November 2012 to October 2015. Their work primarily focused on microparticle propulsion and sorting, as well as nanoparticle trapping and spectroscopic analysis.

Ivan's career began as a PhD student at Ecole Polytechnique, where they conducted groundbreaking research in second harmonic generation microscopy and polarization-modulated excitation and detection. Ivan also contributed to the installation of a biomechanical assay bench for SHG microscopy.

Before starting their PhD, Ivan gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at Fermilab in 2005 and as an Electronics Engineering Intern at KTI PM SBRAS from March 2005 to June 2005.

Ivan Gusachenko has an extensive education history in the field of physics and biophysics. Ivan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accelerator physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) in 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Biophysics from NSU from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, Ivan completed their Master's degree as an Engineer of Ecole Polytechnique from École Polytechnique in 2010. Ivan continued their education at École Polytechnique and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics in 2012.
