Adela Arroyuelos

Adela Arroyuelos has a strong background in the banking industry with a focus on risk management and consumer financing. Adela is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at CaixaBank Payments & Consumer since 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Directora Financiación al Consumo at CaixaBank from 2012 to 2019. Adela also worked at Banca Cívica as Directora Créditos Particulares y Financiación Especializada from 2010 to 2012, and at Caja Navarra as Subdirectora Adjunta Dirección General y Directora Créditos Particulares y Negocio Consumo from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they gained experience at Banesto in the area of Créditos Banca Minorista y Negocio Consumo from 1999 to 2007, and at Citi as a Gestora comercial in 1999.

Adela Arroyuelos has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Oviedo, completed in 1998. Adela also completed a specialization in Risk Management and Financial Strategy from Banesto in 2001. In 1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Banking and Financial Markets from Universidad de Cantabria and Banco Santander. In 2008, they completed the Programa de Desarrollo Directo, CarreraCan from Caja Navarra. Adela Arroyuelos obtained an MBA in Business Administration, Management, and Organization from Universidad Camilo José Cela (Madrid) in 2012. Adela has also started a doctoral program in "Human competencies in credit risk management" at the same institution.
