Thomas Sender Mehl has extensive work experience in various roles related to supply chain, logistics, and project management. Thomas is currently employed at CakeBoxx Technologies as the SVP Global Supply Chain and General Manager in Denmark. Thomas is also a Board Member at Claviate. Thomas Sender Mehl has a diverse education history. In 1992 and 1994, they attended Aarhus University, although it is not specified whether they obtained a degree or studied a specific field during this time. From 1993 to 1995, they studied at Mommark Hanselsskole, specializing in shipping and becoming a freight forwarder. In 2001, they returned to Aarhus University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics. During the same year, they also received another Bachelor's degree in Management and Cooperation from Aarhus University. In 2008, Thomas participated in a project management course offered by Attracktor/Rambøll management. Thomas later pursued a Diploma in Management at Aarhus University from 2009 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they completed the B+C Project Management PM@Siemens certification provided by Siemens AG. Thomas further expanded their project management skills by obtaining a Prince2 certification from the same institution in 2014. Most recently, in March 2018, Thomas obtained the Leading Others certification from the Leadership Pipeline Institute.
