Tariq Imam

Tariq Imam has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tariq currently holds the position of Vice President, Business Development, Operations and Corporate Counsel at Lisata Therapeutics, Inc. Tariq joined the company in October 2021 and is responsible for overseeing business development, operations, and legal matters. Prior to their current role, Tariq served as the Executive Director and Director, Head of Business Development & Licensing at Lisata Therapeutics. Before joining Lisata Therapeutics, Tariq worked as a Manager of Business and Corporate Development at Akrimax Pharmaceuticals, Mist Pharmaceuticals, and Rouses Point Pharmaceuticals from 2015-2016. Tariq also served as a Strategic Consultant for Mergers & Acquisitions/Corporate Integration at Humana from 2013-2015. Earlier in their career, Tariq held positions at Orion Health as a Senior Analyst of Corporate Finance & Strategic Initiatives from 2011-2013, Clifford Chance as an Associate of M&A Corporate, Restructuring & Insolvency from 2010-2011, and The Legal Aid Society as a Civil Practice Staff Attorney in 2009. Tariq began their career at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz as an Associate in the Corporate department from 2008-2009.

Tariq Imam has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics from Princeton University. Tariq also holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from New York University School of Law. Additionally, Tariq has received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
