Erik Ojala

Erik Ojala serves as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Calamos Investments since July 2023, leading all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters while managing a 15-person team. Prior to this role, Ojala held significant positions at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc., including Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer, overseeing a team of 20 and contributing to the executive committee. Earlier experience includes roles at Ariel Investments and D'Ancona & Pflaum LLC, focusing on legal compliance and corporate matters. Ojala earned a JD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and a BA with honors in History from Northwestern University, supplemented by an International Baccalaureate from the International School of Düsseldorf.
