Takafumi Saito

Takafumi Saito is a Senior R&D Manager at Calbee America since April 2022 and concurrently serves as a member of the Americas business unit at Calbee Inc since December 2021, focusing on product development for North American snack markets. Takafumi co-founded Spice Zatsugidan in April 2021, creating unique spice and herb mixes, while previously contributing as an R&D Engineer at N.P. Foods from October 2015 to November 2020, specializing in customized seasonings for instant noodles. Prior experience includes working as an R&D Technologist at Nissin Foods from April 2012 to October 2015, where innovation in instant noodles and snacks was central to the role. Takafumi holds a Master of Science in Marketing & Consumer Insight from Nanyang Business School and a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Tokyo University of Science, along with a Bachelor of Pharmacoscience from the same institution.
