David Hsia

Director, Channel Strategy - Away from Home at Califia Farms

David Hsia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. David is currently working at Califia Farms as the Director of Channel Strategy - Away from Home. In this role, they support sales, innovation, brand marketing, and agency partners to execute new product launches and packaging design, as well as develop solutions for the Away from Home selling channel. Before joining Ventura Foods, David worked as the Director of Marketing & Strategic Development at Aaxa Technologies. David was responsible for both marketing and strategic development for the company's $10 million business, which catered to consumers and enterprise customers.

David also has experience in the coatings industry. David worked at Behr Process Corporation as the Sr. Pro Marketing Manager, Brand & Product, where they managed brand and product management for the company's $300 million professional business. David also worked at Dunn-Edwards Corporation as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for product lifecycle management, marketing communications, portfolio management, and strategic planning.

At Nestle USA, David was a Marketing Associate in the Foodservice Division. David managed product lines under various brands and was selected to participate in the Nestle Navigating Innovation Leadership Program and Nestle Marketing Summit Team.

David also held roles at Bari Management as the Director of Brand Strategy, at Taco Bell as an Associate Marketing Manager, at Allergan as a Marketing Intern, and at Bates USA as an Account Executive.

David Hsia obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Business/Managerial Economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Economics/Business from UCLA from 1989 to 1993. David then pursued further education and completed their MBA with a focus in Marketing from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business between 1999 and 2001. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications which include "Remote Work Foundations," "How to Be an Adaptable Employee during Change and Uncertainty," and "Time Management: Working from Home" from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in 2022.
