CAP-LA’s mission is to ensure that court-appointed attorneys provide the effective representation that the federal constitution and the laws of the state of California guarantee for indigent appellants.  In order to fulfill our mission, we are committed to ensuring that the group of lawyers providing this representation is diverse, equitable, and inclusive; we aspire to create both a workplace and a panel of attorneys taking appointments that reflects these values.
