Kristi Anderson-Wilson

Clinical Director at California Autism Foundation

Kristi Anderson Wilson is CAF’s Clinical Director, who works with adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, autism, and/or psychiatric disorders. Ms. Wilson spent her entire professional career working to enhance the lives of people with developmental disabilities and moved to San Ramon, California with her two daughters in 2012.

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Akron, and immediately took a position to direct care staff at a 10-bed group home. Passionate about her work, she continued her education in administration and specialized in dual diagnosis for individuals. By 2006, she graduated from Kent State University with a Master’s degree in Community Counseling before becoming licensed as Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. From there she went on to become Program Director for the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Ms. Wilson holds national certifications as a Brain Injury Specialist and Counselor and is licensed in Ohio and California (California Board of Behavioral Sciences) with advanced training and work experience focusing in applied behavior analysis, parent and caregiver support and training, crisis prevention and intervention, and positive behavior support.

Ms. Wilson is a small business owner and travels frequently with her daughters who are competitive athletes in soccer, track, and cross country.
