Antoinette Rochester

Associate Director, Research at CALIFORNIA CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION

Antoinette (Toni) Rochester is the Associate Director, Research on CCSA’s Schools Team. She leads research on a range of topics related to school performance, accountability, K-12 education policy, and equity. She is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Middle, Secondary, and K–12 Education at the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a concentration in Urban Education. Additionally, she has her Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in Social Policy from Georgia State University and her Bachelor’s in Political Science from Hampton University. Antoinette is first-generation in the United States, with parents who emigrated from Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working out, trying sweet and spicy foods, listening to music, and researching the intersectionality between race, policy, and education for students of color.
