Jeffrey Sternlicht

Jeffrey Sternlicht, MD, FACEP has a comprehensive work history in the medical field. Jeffrey currently serves as the Medical Director at Vituity since November 2023. Prior to this, they held the same position at Special Events Medical Services since June 2002. Jeffrey also has extensive experience at Charles Emergency Physicians, where they currently serve as the President since January 2008 and as an Emergency Physician since July 1998. Additionally, they were a part of the medical team at UFC 172 in April 2014.

Dr. Jeffrey Sternlicht attended the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Jeffrey then pursued their specialization in Emergency Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School from 1994 to 1998. In 2017, Dr. Sternlicht completed a Point-of-Care Ultrasound Fellowship at the Ultrasound Leadership Academy.

Before their medical education, Dr. Sternlicht earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from The State University of New York between 1986 and 1990. Jeffrey also attended West Islip Senior High School.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Sternlicht obtained Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2019. Jeffrey completed MAT Waiver Training from the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) in 2019 as well. Jeffrey also holds certifications as an MIEMSS Certified Base Station Instructor and a Diplomat of Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, obtained in 2007 and 1999 respectively. Furthermore, Dr. Sternlicht has completed the FEMA Healthcare Leadership Course provided by the Emergency Management Institute of the United States Department of Homeland Security in Aniston, Alabama.
