UMKC FBLA Chapter President/ Founder at Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA)

Vari Patel has a diverse work experience. Vari started as a Legal Assistant and Intern at Langdon & Emison in 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Student Ambassador at UMKC Henry W. Bloch School of Management, and as a Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Student Ambassador. In 2022, they also founded and became the President of the UMKC FBLA Chapter, a professional fraternity that focuses on networking and career opportunities. Moreover, they were a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and held the position of Director of Academic Affairs. Additionally, they were an Initiative Leader at UMKC Enactus, a platform that promotes entrepreneurship and innovation. In 2018, they were a Future Health Care Professional at HOSA-Future Health Professionals and later became the UMKC Chapter Treasurer. Vari then co-founded Students of Change, a nonprofit organization that empowers students to address social issues. Furthermore, they served as the Vice President of Health and Wellness for the National Panhellenic Conference Inc. In 2022, they were a Focus Group Leader for YouthLed KC, a project focused on youth engagement in public policy. Lastly, they interned under Sixth District-at-Large Councilwoman Andrea Bough at the City of Kansas City, MO.

Vari Patel's education history begins in 2018 when they attended Blue Springs South High School and obtained their high school diploma. They then went on to enroll at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2022 to 2025, studying for a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. In 2023 and 2024, Vari Patel also briefly attended the University of Roehampton, focusing on Political Science and Finance.
