Alex Burch

Alex Burch is currently the Senior Manager of Communications at California Life Sciences. Prior to this, they worked as a General Assignment Reporter for KATV from June 2019 to June 2021. They also worked as a News Intern for WNCN from May 2016 to August 2016, and as a News Reporter for KEPR-TV from June 2017 to June 2019. In addition, they have experience working as a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter for KBYU ElevenNews, where they were responsible for enterprise and pitch story ideas weekly, editing news packages and VOSOTVOs with Avid editing software, writing stories using iNews software, and filming, interviewing, and reporting stories live. They also have experience working as a Social Innovation Projects Intern for the Solutions Journalism Network, where they piloted social media campaigns, conducted surveys, performed survey analysis, and consulted on marketing strategies. Additionally, they have served as an Assistant Producer/Editor for Brigham Young University and as a Public Relations and Writing Specialist for Brigham Young University.

Alex Burch pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Brigham Young University.
