VP, Operations at California Pizza Kitchen

Davey James is the current VP of Operations at California Pizza Kitchen. Prior to this, Davey was an owner and joint venture partner at Outback Steakhouse from November 2013 to November 2019. At Outback, Davey was responsible for all operational processes, multi-unit leadership, new initiatives and regional rollouts. Davey was also a member of the compensation council and was responsible for new restaurant openings, close and re-openings of restaurants, and all management leadership positions. Davey was awarded Managing Partner of The Year in 2015 and 2016.

Davey James has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Christian Studies and Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Christian Biblical Studies from Point University. Davey also has a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Skills Training from Darden - Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Educational Skills Training. Additionally, they have a certification in Engineering Performance System Process from Kepnor Tregoe Training and a ServSafe Food Safety Certification from ServSafe Food Safety and Certification.
