Basil Latif

Basil Latif is a data science expert and adjunct professor with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently, Basil writes articles on database design for Interview Query while teaching graduate courses on deep learning at California State University, Long Beach, and data science and databases at Loyola Marymount University. Previously, Basil served as a lead data scientist at CALSTART, leading projects in data infrastructure and machine learning, and has held teaching and analytical roles at ThriveDX, Ex Scientia, Lob, and Ranker. Basil holds a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University.
