Steven Barkdoll

Steven Barkdoll is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and volunteer work. Currently serving as a 6th Grade Teacher at California Virtual Academies since August 2022, Steven previously held positions as a Virtual Service Pilot Volunteer with the Peace Corps and as a 3rd Grade Teacher in Atlanta and at Graded - The American School of São Paulo. Steven's early career includes teaching 4th Grade at Beacon Academy and Riverside Prep, along with teaching English during a Peace Corps assignment. Before transitioning to education, Steven worked in customer service at Disneyland. Steven holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Teaching Credential from the University of Redlands, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University-San Bernardino.
