Senior Research Scientist - Food Processing Technology at Callaghan Innovation

Jolin Morel is a Senior Research Scientist in Food Processing Technology at Callaghan Innovation, a position held since June 2021, focusing on developing novel processing techniques and maximizing value in the food industry, with expertise in process scale-up and extraction methods. Prior to this role, Jolin served as a Research Scientist at the same organization and has significant experience from Massey University where roles included Junior Research Officer, Research Assistant, and PhD student, concentrating on various projects in process and product development, non-dairy milk innovations, food safety evaluations, and rapid freezing methods for raw ovine milk.
