Michol Ecklund

Michol Ecklund has a strong legal background with extensive experience in the energy industry. From 2000 to 2002, they worked as an Attorney specializing in Employee Benefits at Baker Botts LLP. In 2002, they joined Marathon Oil Corporation where they held various positions including Senior Tax Attorney, Manager Investor Relations, and Human Resources Manager. Michol later became a Senior Attorney in Litigation and then moved on to work as a Senior Attorney in International Law. In 2011, they became a Group Counsel, and in 2013, they took on the role of Assistant General Counsel for International Affairs. From 2014 to 2017, Michol served as Deputy General Counsel at Marathon Oil Corporation. In 2017, they joined Callon Petroleum as the Vice President & General Counsel, and later became the Chief Sustainability Officer, Senior Vice President, and General Counsel. In 2019, they returned to Callon Petroleum as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Throughout their career, Michol has consistently demonstrated their expertise and leadership in the legal and energy sectors.

Michol Ecklund received a J.D. degree in Law from Harvard Law School in 2000. Prior to this, from 1993 to 1997, Michol attended Rice University where they obtained a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Managerial Studies.
