Grant Hagen is the vice president of business operations for HII’s Technical Solutions division. Named to this position in 2021, he is responsible for facilities, quality, process excellence and merger and acquisition integration.
Prior to joining Technical Solutions, Hagen served as director of business development, director of business technology and transformation, director of production control, and director of supply chain procurement planning and control at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division. He began his career at Newport News as a submarine hull engineer on the Seawolf program and held various roles with the company in waterfront engineering, business management and aircraft carrier programs.
Hagen also served in various leadership positions for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, including director of programs and business development.
Hagen holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Arkansas State University and an MBA from the College of William and Mary. He has attended executive education programs at Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State University, and William and Mary, and he holds project management professional credentials from the Project Management Institute. He has served on U.S. Northern Command private sector panels and participated in the North American Aerospace Defense Command/NORTHCOM Civic Leader Program. He serves on the board of trustees for the Muscarelle Museum of Art.
