Ian Pieters

Ian Pieters has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Ian started their career as an Electrical Engineer at Aurecon in 2009, where they focused on electrical design, network studies, project management, and testing. Ian later transitioned to the role of Project Development Engineer, where they specialized in utility management consulting, project finance, and feasibility studies.

In 2015, Ian joined Cambridge Judge Business School as an MBA student. Ian then moved on to work at Nugen Electrical Engineers as a Project Manager and Engineer, where they specialized in electrical network planning, analysis, and commissioning.

Since 2016, Ian has been working at Cambridge Energy, where they hold the position of Head of Commercial Operations. In this role, they oversee the manufacturing of movable solar products for the global industry, focusing on quicker installation, easier redeployment, and solar tracking.
