Ermira Zhuka

Ermira Zhuka has been working in the field of data science since 2021. Ermira is currently the Lead Data Scientist at Cambridge Quantum. Previously, they were a Senior Data Scientist at Cambridge Quantum Computing from 2016 to 2021. Before that, they were a Machine Learning Scientist and Machine Learning Intern at Cambridge Quantum Computing from 2015 to 2016. Ermira also worked as an IT Systems Developer at the Ministry of Innovation and Public Administration from 2014 to 2015. In 2014, Ermira worked as a Programmer at DM Consulting Services, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of various web applications and applying in practice learning around web development languages such as HTML, CSS and PHP. Ermira also contributed to the development of Android applications for clients. In 2013, they worked as a Programmer at Metonit, where they contributed to the development of IT-based financial modelling systems.

Ermira Zhuka's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Systems from the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana, Albania from 2014 to 2016, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Informatics from the same institution from 2011 to 2014, an MSc Business Analytics (with specialisation in Computer Science) from UCL from 2015 to 2016, and an exchange student program in Computer Science from Gjovik University College in 2013. Additionally, they completed their secondary education at Qemal Stafa High School.
