Daryl Minus-Vincent

Daryl Minus-Vincent is the Interim Executive County Superintendent for Camden County Schools. As the local representative for the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) and the Commissioner of Education, he promotes the vision of the NJDOE by stimulating a culture of equitable student achievement and establishing programmatic transparency, while ensuring that school districts are in compliance with state and federal regulations. Mr. Minus-Vincent leads the Camden County Office of Education with helping school administrators translate policies into effective practices and addressing the unique needs of each student.

Having previously served as the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Field Services and the Interim Executive County Superintendent for Burlington County, Mr. Minus-Vincent has served in various capacities within the NJDOE for over 20 years. During his tenure, Mr. Minus-Vincent has worked statewide with diverse internal and external stakeholders to shape policy, provide technical assistance and support schools to achieve optimal outcomes.

Prior to the NJDOE, Mr. Minus-Vincent interacted directly with students in urban and suburban school districts, in the classroom and as a counselor, which offered critical hands-on experience that has been integral to his work. Additionally, Mr. Minus-Vincent was an elected member of two Boards of Education and also served on the Board of Trustees for Rowan College at Burlington County.

Educated in the Trenton Public Schools, Mr. Minus-Vincent holds a Bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern University. He is currently enrolled in Seton Hall University’s Executive Ed.D. Program with an anticipated completion of Spring 2022. Daryl is a lifelong New Jersey resident where he lives with his wife and daughter, who is a college student.
