Robert van Stone

Robert Van Stone has extensive experience in safety, health, environment, and quality management within the mining and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Coordinator at Cameco Corporation since July 2008, Robert has overseen budgeting, coordinated site visits for the Environmental Quality Committee, and prepared regulatory submissions concerning reclamation and waste management. Previous roles at Cameco include Senior Specialist for Compliance and Licensing, where Robert supported operational mines with regulatory approvals, and as Coordinator for Environment & Quality, managing departmental functions and budgeting. Robert's earlier positions include environmental compliance monitoring for oil sands projects, wildfire science technology for Alberta Environment, and technician roles in forestry and conservation.
