Michael Tori

Michael Tori has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael is currently working as a Math Curriculum Specialist at Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), where they write curriculum and oversees a team of teachers. Prior to this, they were the Head of the Math Department at Excel Academy South, where they taught Algebra II and Precalculus to students who had fallen behind on their education credits. Michael also worked as a Group Instructor at Youth Engineering and Science and as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher at Father Judge High School. In addition, they have experience in sales and fitness, having worked as an Account Executive at Yelp, a Personal Trainer at Smart Fit, and a Trainer at The Pennsylvania State University. Michael began their career as a Sales Caller at Lion Line and gained supervisory experience as an Assistant Supervisor at Morey's Piers, Beachfront Water Parks & Resorts.

Michael Tori began their educational journey at Father Judge High School, where they completed their high school education from 2006 to 2010. Michael then enrolled at Penn State University from 2010 to 2015, majoring in Journalism Broadcast and Kinesiology. Although the degree obtained from Penn State University is not mentioned, it can be assumed that Michael Tori did not receive a degree at this institution.

Following their time at Penn State, Michael Tori attended the Community College of Philadelphia from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Math and Education. After their graduation from the Community College, they entered Chestnut Hill College in 2020 and completed their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Mathematics in 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Michael Tori has obtained various certifications. In 2014, they acquired certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid from the American Red Cross. In 2015, they obtained the Certified Personal Trainer certification from the American College of Sports Medicine. Most recently, in May 2023, they became an Apple Teacher after completing the relevant training provided by Apple.
