Emily Paul

Emily Paul has extensive work experience in marketing and communications. Emily started their career in 2000 as a Senior Marketing Communications Adviser at Sony Network Communications Europe. Emily then worked as a Marketing Communications Business Manager at Sony in 2002 before joining Sony Professional Solutions Europe as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager in 2003. Emily was responsible for defining marketing and communication approaches, developing integrated campaigns, and managing major events.

In 2005, Emily transitioned to Sony Marketing Communications Division as the Marketing General Manager (Europe), where they developed and delivered major Pan-European marketing campaigns for various Sony consumer electronics divisions. Emily managed consumer brands such as Cybershot, Handycam, VAIO, and Walkman. From 2009 to 2013, Emily served as the Head of Sustainability Communications (Europe) at Sony, leading communications programs, embedding sustainable innovation, and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

In 2013, Emily worked as a Business Consultant at Sustainability & Communications, and from 2014 to 2018, they served as the Group Head of Marketing at Texthelp Ltd., overseeing marketing strategy and planning globally. Emily then started their own freelance consulting business in 2018, where they advised businesses on marketing strategy, brand development, and internal organizational structures.

Most recently, Emily joined Camlin Group as the Chief Marketing Officer in 2019 and transitioned to the role of Strategic Projects Director in March 2021. Overall, Emily has a diverse background in marketing, communications, sustainability, and strategic project management.

Emily Paul obtained a BA (Hons) degree in History from Newcastle University in 1996. Emily then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, completing it between 2000 and 2002.
