Tameka Beckford-Young

Tameka Beckford-Young is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Campari Group since July 2018, providing legal support for Campari America and Canada, and drafting and negotiating various agreements. Prior to this role, Tameka served as Corporate Counsel at Kawasaki Rail Car, managing legal issues related to multi-million dollar procurements and operational matters. Tameka’s background includes extensive litigation experience as a Litigation Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, representing clients in diverse commercial litigation matters, and serving as an Immigration Advocate at the Bluhm Legal Clinic, focusing on asylum cases for women and children. Tameka began legal career as a Trial Preparation Assistant at the New York County District Attorney's Office and gained foundational experience as a Legal Intern at the New York Civil Liberties Union. Tameka earned a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA in Government, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
