Project Manager 

We have a GREAT PM opportunity available in our Detroit, MI office.  This is a hybrid position, with in-office days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. 

A project manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of specific advertising projects. They work with the creative and account teams, and other stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met, and project quality is maintained.  

PMs are responsible for monitoring the project's progress, identifying potential issues or risks, and developing contingency plans to address them. They work closely with the account team to ensure that the project aligns with the client's objectives and expectations.  

Some of the key responsibilities include:  

  • Project Planning: Developing a project plan (timing) with agency SMEs that aligns with the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required for an advertising project.  
  • Project Management: Managing agency resources and other stakeholders, to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.  
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate them. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders on mitagation.  
  • Creative problem solving: Ability to anticipate the need and find a path forward where we all can win.   
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that all deliverables meet the expected quality standards and are delivered on time.  
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicating with stakeholders and keeping them updated on project progress, timelines, and any issues that arise.  
  • Preparing regular reports/status on project progress, including key metrics, milestones, and issues.  Sharing key milestones in regular internal and client meetings.  
  • Team oriented: Ability to build relationships across teams and departments. Maintaining a positive attitude and adaptable spirit while working among teams.  
  • Agency Experience: The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of agency experience in Project Management or Account Management.  
  • Project Management Tools and Processes: The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of how marketing agencies work.   
  • Adept with PM tools such as Microsoft Project, Ziflow, Smartsheet, Workfront, and MS Suite.

At Campbell Ewald we believe in pay equity. The salary range for this position is below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on several factors including current/former employees in the position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, background, relevant experience and qualifications and location.

Salary Range
$60,000$70,000 USD
