Melanie Chanzy

Melanie Chanzy is currently the Chief People Officer at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., a position they have held since May 2021. Before that, they worked at The Boston Consulting Group as the Head of Canada Human Resources from June 2015 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were a Human Resources Manager at Glencore from October 2012 to May 2015. Melanie also has extensive experience at Sun Life Financial, where they held various roles including Sr Consultant, Global Mobility from March 2008 to October 2012, Recruiting Consultant from December 2004 to March 2008, and HR Consultant from August 2002 to November 2004.

Melanie Chanzy completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Human Resources Management from York University, where they attended from 1998 to 2002. Melanie also obtained a certification in the Ivey Talent Leaders Forum from The Ivey Academy at Ivey Business School in September 2022.
