Colin Ethier

Colin Ethier has over 30 years of work experience in the aviation industry. Colin currently holds the role of Director Line Maintenance at Canada Jetlines, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Innotech-Execaire Aviation Group as the Maintenance and Technical Service Sales Manager from May 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Innotech-Execaire, Colin spent over a decade at Air Canada as the Director Line Maintenance. In this role, they managed the overall Line Maintenance Operations in Toronto, overseeing a fleet of 200+ aircraft and a team of 806 employees. Colin ensured high-quality maintenance and safety standards while meeting corporate-established KPIs within budgetary considerations. Colin was with Air Canada from April 2010 to February 2021.

Colin's experience also includes working at Skyservice Airlines as the Manager MOC and Technical Support from June 1997 to March 2010. In this role, they managed AOG coordination, ensured airworthiness standards and company policies were maintained, and oversaw a production team of 100+ employees for aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.

Additionally, Colin worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Canair Cargo from 1993 to 1997, at Canadian Partner from 1992 to 1993, at Canair Cargo as a Contract Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from 1991 to 1992, at Air Toronto as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from 1990 to 1991, and at Soundair Corporation as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from 1989 to 1990.

Colin Ethier holds a Diploma of Education in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician from Centennial College. Additionally, they have obtained certification as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M1/M2 from Transport Canada - Transports Canada.
