Harold Remisiar, FSA, FCIA

Harold Remisiar, FSA, FCIA has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Harold began their career at RBC Insurance in 2013 as an Actuarial Summer Student, focusing on Model Development. In 2013, they also joined Canada Life Reinsurance, where they held various roles over the years. Harold started as an Actuarial Analyst in Reinsurance Financial Management, and then progressed to become an Actuarial Associate in Reinsurance Pricing. From 2018 to 2019, they served as an Actuarial Associate in Reinsurance Valuation, and then advanced to the position of Associate Manager in the same department. In 2020, they became the Manager of Reinsurance Valuation, responsible for overseeing the financial management of reinsurance activities. Currently, Harold is the Director of Reinsurance Financial Management at Canada Life Reinsurance since October 2021.

Harold Remisiar, FSA, FCIA, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have also earned the certifications of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the Society of Actuaries in August 2019, and Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in December 2019.
