Taufiq Hakim

Taufiq Hakim currently serves as the Director of Data Strategy & Governance at CAPREIT, a position held since April 2024. Prior to this role, Taufiq was with BDO Canada from September 2020 to April 2024, where responsibilities included Practice Leader and various managerial and consulting positions focused on technology, data, and analytics. Taufiq's experience also includes a senior consulting role at TD from October 2018 to September 2020, emphasizing data analytics, governance, and regulatory compliance, as well as a significant tenure at RBC from August 2013 to October 2018, where Taufiq was a Senior Technical Business Analyst responsible for advanced analytics and reporting for over 3,000 staff across multiple lines of business. Earlier experience includes a Business Development Associate role at Foodmart Frozen Foods Ltd. from December 2011 to June 2013. Taufiq holds an Honours B.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto and a Level 2 French Certification from Alliance Francaise.
