Eloise Tan, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Eloise is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Canadian Blood Services since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager at Emploi et Développement social Canada (EDSC) / Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) from February 2021 to March 2023. Before joining EDSC, Eloise served as the Director of Research Program at People for Education from December 2018 to February 2021. Eloise also worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer from September 2016 to December 2018. Prior to that, Eloise was a Program Officer at National Forum T&L from January 2014 to January 2016. Eloise also has teaching and learning experience, having worked as a Teaching and Learning Developer and Lecturer at Dublin City University from September 2010 to December 2013. Additionally, Eloise worked as an Educational Researcher at McGill University from 2006 to 2010 and also held the position of Adjunct Lecturer in various subjects there from 2007 to 2009.

Eloise Tan, Ph.D. obtained their B.A. in International Development Studies from York University in 2004. Eloise then pursued further education and received their Ph.D. in Education Studies from McGill University in 2010. In 2013, they also obtained a certification in Leading Strategic Innovation in Organizations from Coursera.
