Chrl Andrea Fobert

Andrea Fobert, CHRL, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrea is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Canadian North since October 2023. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at The Sleeve Clinic starting July 2022. From December 2020 to July 2022, they held the position of Director, ERP Change Management at Innovapost/Canada Post.

Andrea has also worked as an Independent Consultant - Transformation Lead and DevCOE Project Manager at Innovapost from July 2018 to May 2019. Andrea was also an instructor for the Project Management Program at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from May 2019 to August 2019.

Their previous roles include Program Manager Workday at Algonquin College from September 2016 to June 2018, Manager of Service Transformation at the City of Ottawa from October 2012 to August 2016, and Manager of Human Capital at Deloitte Inc. from December 2008 to October 2012.

Andrea's work experience also includes being a Managed Human Resources Consultant at Ceridian from June 2005 to November 2008, Manager of Human Resources at First Air from February 2000 to June 2005, and a Recruiter and Customer Service Consultant at Interim Personnel from August 1999 to February 2000.

Andrea Fobert, CHRL, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours degree in Strategic Human Resource Management and Accounting from Carleton University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications. Andrea obtained certification as a Prosci Certified professional from Prosci Canada, ULC. in April 2017. In October 2015, they achieved Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from LTS (Learning to See) Consulting. Andrea became a Certified Human Resources Leader from HRPA in April 2005. Andrea obtained Certification as a Payroll Administrator from the Canadian Payroll Association in January 2004. Lastly, in August 2001, they achieved certification in implementing the Return on Investment Process from Franklin Covey.
