Marty le Gallez

Marty Le Gallez has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Administrative Assistant with Resources and Information at uOttawa until 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Indigo. They then took on the role of Administrative Assistant at CHUO.FM Radio Ottawa from 2012 to 2013, where they managed the fundraising campaign database and handled mail-outs. From 2013 to 2015, Marty worked as an Administrative Assistant with Procurement Services at uOttawa, focusing on contract tracking and filing. In 2017, they had a 6-week CO-OP placement as a Communications Intern at the Ottawa Public Library. Marty worked as a cook at Monkey Around Play and Learn Center from 2015 until 2018, handling general kitchen prep work and food preparation for the center. They also briefly worked in marketing customer service at Giant Tiger in 2018. From 2019 to 2022, Marty worked as a Receptionist/Legal Assistant at Burn Tucker Lachaêne PC, and currently, they are serving as an Administrative Assistant to the 1st National Vice-President at the Canadian Union of Postal Workers.

Marty Le Gallez completed a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Ottawa, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. They then pursued further education at the Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 2016 to 2017, specializing in Professional Writing.
