David Villarreal

David Villarreal is responsible for all Operations activities.

David has over 25 years of experience in medical device Operations, most of that time spent in process development, manufacturing scale-up and sustaining engineering for cardiovascular devices with Abbott’s Heart Failure division where he served as Director of Operations Engineering for several years. He also has prior experience in development and manufacturing of neurovascular products for treating brain aneurysms with Boston Scientific. He most recently was General Manager and Director of Operations for one of Abbott’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers, where he had P&L responsibility and led a team of Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance and Reimbursement professionals to achieve 250% revenue growth over a two-year period.

David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
