Samuel Godfrey has extensive experience in the field of science engagement and communication. Samuel started their career in 2005 as an Antibody Processing Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific, then moved on to roles such as Assay Development Scientist at Pfizer and PhD student at the University of Kent. Samuel also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, specializing in blast injury studies. Samuel'smost recent roles include Science Communication Manager, Partnerships Specialist, Senior Science Communications Manager, and Research Information Team Lead at Cancer Research UK (CRUK). In 2018, Samuel briefly worked as a Host and Creator of a podcast at AudioBoom. Throughout their career, Samuel has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing scientific knowledge, engaging with diverse audiences, and fostering partnerships within the scientific community.
Samuel Godfrey completed their BSc HONS in Biomedical Science from the University of Kent in 2005. Samuel went on to obtain their PhD in Biochemistry with a focus on Cancer Immunotherapy from the same university in 2011.
